Assistant/Associate Professor of Information TechnologyThe School of Arts and Sciences at the American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants for theposition of Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Technology to begin teaching in Spring 2024/Fall2024.The successful candidate will have:Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field from a Western accredited institutionat the time of appointmentPrevious teaching experience in a Western higher education systemEvidence of scholarly activity or strong potential for scholarly contributionsExcellent English written and oral communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team Candidates will have evidence of successful teaching experience or must demonstrate significant potentialand promise of teaching effectiveness and excellence at the undergraduate level. Additionally, candidatesare expected to meet standards for professional scholarship and assist in curriculum development andother service to the department, school, and community.The compensation package for this position is competitive and is based on the expatriate model.
